Thefts from vehicles on the rise

The rash of vehicle thefts are taking place in residential areas of the city .

The North Bay Police Service is concerned about a recent rash of vehicle break-in's in the city over the past week. 

Police say the majority of the complaint calls come from thefts in residential neighbourhoods.  

Some of the hot spots include Greenhill Avenue, Franklin Street, Willingdon Drive, Nottingham Drive, Bain Drive, Tupper Drive, Anita Avenue, MacBeth Crescent, King Henry's Court, Janey Avenue and Mapleview Place.   

Items stolen include:

  • debit and credit cards
  • loose change
  • wallets
  • electronic devices (laptop, Ipad, Ipod, GPS, phone charger)
  • tools
  • sunglasses
  • candy
