A North Bay woman got a shock of her life when she went flying across her room after a vehicle struck the side of her home.

Kathy Dobbs is the homeowner and was at work when the accident occurred around the noon.  But her daughter Melissa felt the impact of the car ramming into their Angus Street home.

“My daughter was in the room on her bed and it bounced her off of the bed and the pictures came off the wall, the chair is knocked over inside the house. We don’t know who hit who, but I have no idea,” said Dobbs.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Frost and Angus on the north end of the city. Dobbs says this intersection has been a dangerous one in the past.

Police, Ambulance, and the Fire Department were at the scene of the accident, no word on a number of injuries in the two-car collision that led to the one vehicle hitting the Dobbs home.

However, the woman driving the car that hit the home was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.

Dobbs says the accident also damaged the wheelchair ramp by the house that they use for her other daughter.
