Vandals strike worksite

Vandals caused a lot of damage at a worksite in Mattawa this week. OPP say on this past Saturday, they received a report of damage done to machinery located at Boulter Road, Mattawa.

OPP say on this past Saturday, they received a report of damage done to machinery located at Boulter Road, Mattawa.

Police discovered numerous pieces of machinery parked at the work site with "severe damage".

It appears that, sometime over night, the vandals smashed windshields, windows, pulled out and cut wires and discharged fire extinguishers inside vehicles.  

Damage was done to a John Deere bulldozer, Caterpillar dump truck and  an excavator.  The estimated cost of this vandalism is in the thousands of dollars.
