USA stuns Korea to face Canada in the semi's tonight

Russia dumps the Czechs to create Russia vs Sweden in the other semifinal

Team USA scored an incredible seven in the ninth end to upset the favoured Koreans 10-3 in the 2018 Ford World Women's Curling Championship quarterfinal which took place this morning at Memorial Gardens.

USA Skip Jamie Sinclair told TSN she can't remember the last game she scored seven in one end.

"Maybe in our Tuesday night league but I can't say this has ever happened at this level," said Sinclair about blowing open what was a low scoring game with neither team scoring more than a single until the blowout in the ninth.

The USA win sets up a rematch from Friday night in an all-North American semifinal against the unbeaten Canadians.   Canada defeated the USA in the last draw Friday night 8-5 as Canada finished 12-0 in the round robin portion of the event.
