UPS offering free fax service for job seekers

North Bay – As the national unemployment rate continues to rise, The UPS Store® in North Bay & Sudbury are doing what they can to help those affected by providing fax services for free.

“In these hard economic times, it’s necessary that we help out where we can. In order to receive free faxing at The UPS Store, all you have to do is bring in your resume and the fax number of the company where you’re seeking employment—it’s that simple,” said Daisy Churchman, manager of The UPS Store North Bay.

There is also a limit of 10 pages per customer but this still allows any job-seeker to send several resumes.

As there is no clear end in sight to the economic slump, The UPS Store will offer free fax services from April 2009 until the outlook is more positive. “We truly want to be of service to our community for as long as it takes. We also have a number of services, besides faxing, that may be helpful to someone who is unemployed,” says Daisy Churchman.
