Some North Bay residents in West Ferris say the slush and ice build up on their street is causing headaches for travel along their residential street.

The same was reported on other streets in the area including Massey, Cloverbrae and Turner.

The photo above is from Monday on Labreche; a West Ferris area street on the south end of the city.

Residents told BayToday.ca that cars were bottoming out on their street due to the slush and ice.  They say even school busses and garbage trucks were struggling to find traction on the slushy streets.

Residents say the road was plowed on Tuesday morning.  Regardless the heavy snow and then the mild temperatures were perfect melting conditions as the snow melted and the large snow banks sunk onto area roads.
