OPP are investigating a collision between an ambulance and a Honda Civic that occurred Monday evening around 6:30.
The accident happened at the intersection of Highways 11 and 17. (Algonquin Ave)
A North Bay District ambulance, with its emergency lights and sirens activated, was northbound on Algonquin when it entered the intersection on Highway 11 and proceeded to turn westbound.
The ambulance collided with a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle and the occupants of the ambulance (two paramedics and a student) suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospital by the North Bay Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
The investigation is ongoing.
