Hwy 17 near the Bonfield turnoff between Maple Road and Hwy 531 is now open.
North Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police advised that the road re-opened around 3:30 p.m.:
The highway was closed for over an hour after a tractor trailer rear-ended three passenger vehicles. Two occupants received non life-threatening injuries.
Accident happened around 2:30 p.m.
