Unattended purse leads to theft and fraud

On Nov 30 between 5:00 & 9:00 pm, a woman on the 1400 Block of Ferguson Street in the City of North Bay, returned home after shopping. She left her purse outside while she carried her groceries into the house at which time she discovered her house had been entered.

Being distracted by the Break-In, she forgot her purse outside the house. Four hours later she discovered her purse had been stolen.

Upon notifying credit card companies she discovered her credit cards had been used at several retail outlets throughout the city. Video surveillance at some of the stores revealed two females and one male as possible suspects. Cst. Bradley is continuing her investigation.
