U Needa clean up!

The folks at U Needa Cab get a big thumbs up from the folks at North Bay Blooms for their efforts during the Wednesday night clean up.

North Bay Blooms Chair Chris Mayne says over 25 people worked towards cleaning up the Algonquin Avenue and Highway 17 intersection roadside and collected over 18 bags of litter.

“Thanks to John and Kathy Strang for organizing a great volunteer effort and one of the busiest clean up nights yet from all of the North Bay Blooms Committee,” he says.

Next week will see two teams hosting a clean-up nights with the Association for Community Living hosting the first clean up Wednesday around FJ Dellandrea Place on Wallace Road. The folks at FJ Dellandrea are also hosting a barbeque starting at about 5:00 p.m. for their cleanup crew.

Thursday night will see the folks from the Pulp and Paper Health and Safety Team cleaning up along McKeown Avenue starting at 4:30 pm.
