At approximately 2 p.m. yesterday, the two accused turned themselves in to the North Bay Courthouse where North Bay Police executed warrants for their arrest.

Thomas Joseph Friday, age 29, of North Bay and Caleb Joseph Laronde, age 27, of North Bay were both charged with:
• one count of disguise with intent;
• one count of personating peace officer;
• one count of break, enter and commit;
• one count of assault with a weapon; and
• one count of robbery with violence.

The two men each face two additional counts of break, enter and commit, in connection to two break and enters that took place at a Front Street house.

It is alleged that between the December 27th and 30th, 2014, the men forced their way into the residence while the occupants were away, leaving with many items including guitars and jewellery. They then returned to the same residence sometime between December 30th and 31st, 2014, leaving with another guitar and headphones.

Both men were held in custody, awaiting bail hearings scheduled for today.
