Two Manitou St. men charged with assault with weapon

At 8:40 p.m. on the 7th June, a 19yr old male and a 17 yr old male were involved in a verbal argument on Manitou St, when the 19 year old grabbed a shovel and the 17 year old grabbed a baseball bat.

Both persons tried to hit the other with their weapon of choice. The 17 year old was successful but there were no serious injuries.

Both males were arrested and charged with assault with a weapon.
