Cinéfest Sudbury is thrilled to announce the 2013 finalists for the CTV BEST IN SHORTS COMPETITION. The screening of the finalists’ films will take place on Saturday, September 21st at 12:30 p.m. at SilverCity Sudbury Cinemas, located at 355 Barrydowne Road.

The 2013 Finalists are:

Best in Shorts Awards will be presented at the Awards Ceremony, Saturday,
September 21st at 4:30 p.m. in the following categories:

Open Category (Grand Prize: $1,500, 2nd Prize $750)
Student Category (Grand Prize $1,500, 2nd Prize $750)
Best Animation Award ($1,000 Sponsored by Collège Boréal)
The Northern Flicks Award ($1,000 Sponsored by Sault College)

Tickets for the CTV Best in Shorts screening of finalists can be purchased at the Festival Box Office – located at SilverCity Cinemas, 355 Barrydowne or prior to the screening on Saturday, September 21st. Awards Ceremony tickets, Passes and books of tickets can be purchased at Cinéfest Sudbury’s main office at 40 Larch Street, at the Festival Box Office or online at cinefest.com.

The 25th Anniversary edition of Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival will run from September 14th – 22nd, 2013.
