A drug bust at a Main Street West apartment on Saturday by the North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime unit resulted in the arrest of two people.
Arrested and charged:
- A 21 year old Callander woman and
- Tyler Jay Badgley, age 21, of North Bay.
Both were charged with:
- Two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking;
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime; and
- Two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon.
Both were released from custody with a court date scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th.
As a result of the investigation, North Bay Police seized the following:
- 7 lbs of suspected marijuana;
- 3 g of suspected cannabis resin (street name “shatter”);
- Two prohibited knives; and
- Approximately $4000 in Canadian currency.
The total street value of the combined drugs seized is estimated at $45,000.
