City police stopped a vehicle shortly after 4 p.m. on Lakeshore Drive yesterday, and officers from the Street Crime unit arrested and charged two people.
Jim Stephen Hegyi and Joseph Rene Neale Bazinet, both 18 and both from North Bay, were each charged with one count of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Both were released from custody with a court date scheduled for March 1st.
Police seized approximately 110 grams of marijuana, with a street value estimated at over $1,000, as well as drug accessories as evidence.
