Two charged for street racing

On the 2nd of Sept. at approximately 8:35 PM it is alleged that two vehicles were racing and chasing each other in the Main St. - Fraser St. area of the city. One of the vehicles was a large pick-up truck and the other was a Trans Am.

A plain clothes officer in an unmarked cruiser from the North Bay Police spotted the vehicles in question and followed them to a parking lot. Both vehicles were impounded for 7 days and a 26 year old male as well as a 21 year old male are both charged with Street Racing.
