After a two-year pandemic hiatus, a well-known cancer fundraiser is making a comeback.

The annual Trojan Parade for Cancer is back and will see hundreds of students and staff walk from West Ferris Secondary School down to the waterfront bandshell on Tuesday morning.

This will be the 26th time the Trojan community has held the event that raises funds for cancer research.

Over the years, the Parade has raised close to $300,000 and this year all funds raised will be donated North Bay Regional Heath Centre – Cancer Treatment Facility.

If anyone is interested in donating to the cause, they can visit the school’s Facebook page for details.
