North Bay OPP respond to a variety of Traffic Complaints throughout the year. These complaints range from excessive speeds, tailgating, improper passing, aggressive driving and incidents of road rage.

Now that the weather has sprung to spring, some motorists have started operating their vehicles in unsafe and aggressive manners. In the past 24 hours the North Bay OPP have received 5 Traffic Complaints on our area highways. These complaints include following too closely, excessive speeds, rude gestures and unsafe passing. The North Bay OPP want to remind everyone that traffic enforcement patrols are well underway, and these types of driving behaviours are not acceptable, and may result in traffic charges and in some cases criminal charges.

Police are urging those who operate their vehicle to help us contribute to the overall safety of the motoring public on Ontario’s roadways and highways by complying with Ontario Traffic laws at all times.
