A successful TP North Bay campaign has wrapped up.

Just over 23,500 rolls of toilet paper were donated over the past several weeks and have been distributed to several food banks and pantries in North Bay.

The goal of this year’s campaign was 20,000 rolls.

Officials also say with some more pickups being done late this week they were expecting to collect another 500 donated rolls.

"After a few additional donations and cheques in the past week, we have been blessed. With donations from many companies, individuals, and local clubs we can advise that the community has come through big with a new official total of 27,350 rolls to help those in need of support this year," said TP North Bay Chair Ellen Faulkner.

"North Bay companies, clubs and citizens continue to show their generosity and community support and we could not do it without everyone who contributed from just a few rolls to hundreds of rolls."
