Rogers Radio North Bay is proud to announce it has invested $1,000,000 into new equipment and broadcast facilities locally. The 2 Rogers FM radio stations have both seen their broadcast signals boosted while the AM transmitter site has been completely rebuilt. And our listeners and sponsors are benefiting.

Both 102FM The Fox and 100.5 EZ Rock are now broadcasting at 100,000 megawatts. EZ Rock has also moved 36 kilometres into North Bay while The Fox has jumped over 100 metres up the tower. The end result of the half million dollar upgrade is we’re reaching more radios around the region with the 2 most powerful FM stations in North Bay.

Meantime, the infamous July 2006 windstorm ripped down 2 of the 3 towers at our AM600 CKAT transmitter site. And while the music and information you count on continued to flow, we rebuilt the entire transmitter site, which features 3 new towers. That’s a $500,000 investment.

All in all, the community is hearing the results of the infrastructure upgrades at Rogers Radio North Bay.
