Tour a 'Green' home

The Nipissing- Temiscaming Green Party is hosting a "Living Green" open house tour on Saturday, April 28th from 1:30 -5:00pm.

Focal point of the day is a tour of Martha and Albert Attema’s home constructed out of straw bales. The house is also off power grid, as they use wind and solar power. Other "Green" living exhibits will be featured as well.

The Attema home is located at 233 Peever Line just North of Powassan across from the golf course. The house is about 1 km down the road, watch for a windmill on left.
