Tickled pink at Station 1

In advance of the annual CIBC Run for the Cure in support of breast cancer research, employees at the CIBC celebrated ‘Pink Week’ with a number of events.
In advance of the annual CIBC Run for the Cure in support of breast cancer research, employees at the CIBC celebrated ‘Pink Week’ with a number of events.

On Monday gang at the Main & Fraser Branch held a Cake Cutting ceremony and Proclamation with Mayor Al McDonald and other dignitaries and the celebrations continued today with ‘Think Pink Day’ and the raising of the Pink Flag by North Bay Firefighters at Fire Station 1 on Princess Street.

Both fire officials and run organizers say breast cancer is not an issue for women it is a state of concern for everyone.



The local CIBC Run for the Cure takes place Sunday, October 6th at the North Bay Waterfront at noon.
