Thieves make off with power tools and garden equipment

Phelps Twp - North Bay OPP is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred on Steve Road in Phelps Township where a quantity of power tools, hand tools and garden equipment were stolen.

Sometime between 9:00 p.m. Monday July 2nd and 7:30 p.m. on Friday July 6th, thieves forced their way into an outbuilding located at a seasonal property on Steve’s Road in Phelps Township. A selection of power tools, hand tools and garden equipment were taken of which included two Elto outboard motors, Pioneer chainsaw, orange and black Stihl weed trimmer, Skil belt sander, Mastercraft - 1/2 inch variable speed hammer drill, Mastercraft - reciprocating saw – blue. The estimated value of stolen property exceeds $2,800.
