A Barrie man has been charged with the theft of gas.
On March 15, just after midnight, Nipissing West OPP along with the Anishinabek Police Service stopped a vehicle and arrested the driver, who police say was involved with the theft of gas on March 14, from a gas station on Front Street, Sturgeon Falls.
The driver was also found to be both a prohibited and suspended driver.
Cameron Sinclair, 29, is charged with:
- Theft under $5,000
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
- Driving while under suspension
Sinclair was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on May 4 in North Bay.
