Wednesday morning as the ‘Weed Warriors’ removed The Warriors of Hope pink petunia ribbon of hope flowerbed at the waterfront as they prepared the flowerbed for spring.

Carefully planted with the pointy side up, were dozens of pink tulips that will bloom early in the spring, greeting walkers at the popular meeting place. The pink petunias in their ribbon-shaped bed garnered many compliments this year as people paused to reflect on family and friends who have fought breast cancer.
