Derick and Julie Lehmann have completely changed their front yard into a grave site to host their annual Halloween Display at 321 Carmichael Drive.

Lehmann says he realises it may be a bit early for a Halloween celebrations for some, but they want to share their love for Halloween with others.

The display runs nightly at 6:30pm until its final night on Halloween October 31st.

Here are some facts about the display:

- Park in front of the house at 321 Carmichael Drive and tune into 88.9 FM to hear the light show synched to music each night from Oct 12 to Oct 31. Sunday to Thursday from 7pm to 10pm and Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm to 11pm.

- The length of the show is about 45 minutes, but runs continually so you can watch anytime for as long as you want. It includes some great Halloween songs including Thriller, Monster Mash, Ghostbusters, the theme music from
The Munsters, Beetlejuice, among others.

- The display uses 16 channels of computer controlled lighting. This year we have added more lights to the roof (the entire roof line is complete this year), added a thunder & lightning effect, and added a few more props
including a second ghoul who sings some of the songs.

- Each song is on a laptop computer along with the lighting cues. The computer attaches via a network cable to the hardware controller in the yard which controls each lighting fixture. Each song has 100's of cues because
it can control the lights each 10th of a second. The audio from the laptop outputs to a small hobby FM transmitter so that we don't disturb the neighbours with Halloween music each night.

- On Halloween night the display really comes alive with fog machines and the garage will be transformed into a scare zone for the trick-or-treaters that want some candy and a few scares.
