Ten new cases of COVID Tuesday

The Nipissing District had as many new cases as the three bordering health units combined

The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit reports 10 new COVID cases today, bringing the total to 496 since the pandemic began. It means 19 new cases in just the past four days.

There are now 37 active cases with two people hospitalized. All the new and active cases are in the Nipissing District.

The percentage of adults with at least one dose of vaccine has reached 71, while fully vaccinated adults have reached 15 per cent.

Today the Health Unit said that a second dose may come with different side effects than you experienced after your first dose.

The Timiskaming Health Unit reports no new cases and two active cases.

The Sudbury Health Unit reports two new cases and 18 active cases.

The Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit reports six new cases and 142 active cases.
