Teens find remains of a newborn

On March 30, 2007 at approximately 6:40 p.m. two teenage boys were playing in a wooded area near Minto Road and Laurentian Avenue. While in the woods, they discovered what they thought were the remains of an infant child.

Members of the North Bay Police Service attended the area and have confirmed the remains are that of what appeared to be a newborn child.

Police have since sealed off the area and the investigation is continuing.
