The North Bay & District Multicultural Centre’s “Empowering Women” catering project is postponing the casual buffet ticketed dinner hosted at Tandoori Plus that was supposed to be held on Wednesday, March 25.
The tickets that were purchased are valid for the chosen rain date. The NBDMC will wait until the coronavirus threat is over and advertise the rain date says a news release.
“We are grateful with the community support for this project helping immigrant women start their catering businesses and hope there is an understanding that everyone’s health is to be safeguarded during this pandemic.”, said Vijanti Ramlogan, NBDMC project coordinator.
