Please take a moment today to remember the 14 women who were murdered in Montreal on 6 December, 1989.

Please remember that they were murdered because they were
women--women who someone felt were breaking the rules about what women should do, and what men should do.

Please learn, and recall if you have already learned, how much has changed for women in Canada over the last 50 years.

Please take a moment to think about how much much more still needs to change. And all the actions, large and small, individual and group, we all need to take to accomplish those changes.
