Swiss Space Systems saga continues. Founder is accused of staging his own attack

The owner of the company that was supposed to bring zero-gravity space flights to North Bay is now being accused of staging an attack on himself. Pascal Jaussi claimed that he had been abducted and set on fire.

Last week criminal proceeding began against Pascal Jaussi, the founder and CEO of S3. The public prosecutor in Switzerland is accusing Jaussi of lying to authorities, alleging he staged his abduction and attack last summer.

Jaussi has denied the charges.

S3  had announced plans to offer zero-gravity commercial flights on an Airbus A340-300 from North Bay's Jack Garland Airport, launch mini-satellites from a shuttle carried on the back of an airplane.

The company which had a partnership with Canadore College, was declared bankrupt by a Swiss court in December.
