Suspicious circumstances at Sunset Beach

On the 9th of May at 4:45 PM a young boy was walking his dog on Sunset Beach when a man driving a van call out to him and ask him if he wanted to share his hamburger that he was eating.

The boy ran off towards the beach looking for help. He found someone leaving their home and he ended up calling his mother and the police.

The van is believed to have been an older reddish Astro type of vehicle and is further described as having a flat front end with a vertical venting for a grill and had dark tinted windows. The man is described as being white, older with grey hair and a beard. The investigating officer is Cst. Seth Dinsmore at 497-5555.
