College Students, Management and Faculty are pleased with the outcome of the rally held at Queen’s Park Thursday in Toronto that will see both sides return to the negotiating table Monday.

"The rally was a huge success, there were over 300 students that came out, who represented 15 different colleges. We were also visited by many universities students who made a statement that they are also affected by this College Faculty strike," states Meaghan Byrnes CSRC VP External.

Byrnes, who is hopefully optimistic that the rally had an impact maintains that the students are the heart of the issue.

“Canadore College had 55 students that joined in, and our students were given the opportunity to voice their opinions, meet other students who are also in the same situation they are in and prove to The Council, OPSEU and the government that students need to be back in class.”
