Student struck by school bus

Redbridge - An 11-year-old Redbridge girl received minor injuries after she was struck by a school bus on her way home May 15, 2007. The girl had gotten off of the bus on Hwy 63 in the village of Redbridge, near her residence shortly after 4:15 p.m. As she reached the front of the bus to cross to road, she was struck by the corner of the school bus and knocked to the ground injuring her elbow and knee. She was taken to North Bay General Hospital where she was treated and released.

The incident is under investigation by Provincial Constable Rod Brooks.
