Street Crime Unit lays drugs & weapons charges

Three people face drug charges today, following an investigation by the North Bay Police Street Crime unit. Yesterday at approximately 8 p.m.

Three people face drug charges today, following an investigation by the North Bay Police Street Crime unit.

Yesterday at approximately 8 p.m., the Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Worthington Street East residence.

As a result, police arrested and charged the following individuals:

Corey Goddin, age 33, of North Bay was charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Kandice Grandmond, age 25, of North Bay was charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and one count of Breach of Recognizance.

Zebediah Goddard, age 21, of Toronto was charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

The Police search of the residence found suspected crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, large amounts of cash and a number of prohibited weapons.

All three accused were held in custody for bail hearings.
