Stolen snowmachine recovered with some damages

French River - On Sunday, March 04th, 2007, a resident of St. Charles reported his snow machine stolen while parked at a friend’s residence on Notre Dame Street in Noelville. The 1995 Polaris XLT snow machine was secured with another snow machine on the evening of Saturday March 03rd 2007. At about 11:50 am on Sunday, the snow machine was recovered damaged and without an engine, on the OFSC trail. The recovered snow machine was seized and towed to the Noelville OPP Detachment for further analysis by the Scenes of Crimes Officer. Police are still investigating.
