Spending Spree On Stolen Credit Cards

On the 13th of April, officers of the North Bay Police Service took a report of a stolen purse containing a credit card from a North Bay citizen. The Credit Card Company advised the owner of the card that this card was being used throughout the city.

The investigating officer Cst. Bill Meloche of this Service advised other officers of what had transpired and also gave descriptions of the suspects.

On the 14th of April shortly after midnight Cst. Jim Kilroy and Bruce Whitehead of the North Bay Police Service spotted a vehicle within the city with one of the known suspects. The vehicle was stopped and the occupant arrested. Later that same day the same officers arrested another male in relation of this incident.

Donald COX 43 years old of 4th Av. W. is charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Theft Under $5000. and Fraudulent Use of Credit Card. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

Regan PICHE 27 years old of 4th Av. W. is charged with 2 counts of Fraudulent Use of Credit Card and Possession of Stolen Property. Both were kept in custody for a bail hearing.
