The Burk's Falls area was a place to avoid this weekend if your nickname is "leadfoot".
Almaguin Highlands OPP say they laid 101 speeding charges over the Victoria Day long weekend.
Officers focused on aggressive driving, speeding, distracted driving and impaired operation.
As well as the speeding tickets Provincial Offence notices were issued.
- 16 charges for drivers not having insurance card,
- Two charges under the Off Road Vehicle Act
- One Liquor Licence Act charge
- One driver was charged with having no insurance
Almaguin Highlands OPP report one motor vehicle collision involving an All-Terrain Vehicle. The driver sustained a minor injury.
