Audience member Mary Willard was so impressed with the calibre of talent in North Bay that she wanted to share her thoughts with everyone, so she wrote the following letter to BayToday.ca.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that the performance of the Sound of Music performed by the Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre was absolutely superlative. The Theatre Company certainly outdid themselves in the face of the adversities they have had to face recently.

We are so fortunate to have such an abundance of talent in North Bay. I challenge any other community to provide such a high level of quality entertainment. The casting was exceptional, staging excellent, costumes wonderful and of course the acting, singing and dances absolutely spectacular.

I also want to mention the great level of talent in the local children who played in this production. You were extremely professional and endearing.

Special mention to Kelsey Scheer for playing an outstanding Maria and Cheryl Gould who played Mother Abess, you both did an incredible job and Cheryl I am sure Julie Andrews would be very proud of the job you are doing of playing one of her favourite roles.

I especially enjoyed the involvement from Dave Saad and Judith Koziol and our local high school principals. Hats off to you!!!

Thank you Dreamcoat, I will remember this, my favourite of musicals, for a very long time. It was a great evening of entertainment; I loved it and look forward to Dreamcoat's next theatre production with anticipation!!

Sincerely, Mary Willard
