Make Mattawa your summer destination Thursday July 26 to Sunday July 29, 2007 as we host the 10th Annual Mattawa Voyageur Days festival! This year’s festival includes a variety of new activities planned for everyone’s enjoyment in addition to our traditional crowd-pleasing events.

The Mattawa Voyageur Days Committee is pleased to announce this year’s musical line-up featuring four evenings of coast-to-coast musical entertainment including:

In addition to great music, Mattawa Voyageur Days is pleased to include events such as: Survivor Kidz, The “Dam Tour”, Helicopter Tours, Mattawa River Canoe Race, Andre Champagne Memorial Lumberjack Competition, The Birds of Prey Show, Science North – Outreach Shows, True North Chevrolet Golf Tournament, Fun In the Sun Youth Day, Monster Bingo, Voyageur Marketplace, Food Vendors, Music by Dunn Deal @ The Legion, Rock Climb Wall, Laser Tag, and much, much more.

The festival’s events rise to a climax Sunday evening after dark with a choreographed fireworks show at the historic Explorer’s Point Park.

Wristbands are now on sale. Access to four solid days of entertainment, activities and events costs a mere $20 in advance or $25 after July 20th. Children 10 and under free. Wristbands are available at the Mattawa Travel Information Centre, Scotiabank – Mattawa Branch, and Caisse Populaire – Mattawa Branch.
