Well it is, but old man winter is having a hard time letting go.

If you live in North Bay you woke up to a bit of a winter wonderland this morning.

A freezing rain warning is also in effect this morning from Burk's Falls to Barrie.

You'll see periods of snow becoming mixed with ice pellets this morning but ending near noon. Then it will become cloudy with a 30 percent chance of flurries early this afternoon, changing to rain showers late this afternoon. Local snow and ice pellet amount will total 2 cm.

Today's high will reach plus 4. The average for this time of year is 2.

The snow won't last long. Tomorrow will see sunny skies with a high of 0, and next week will have daytime highs all above zero according to the Weather Network.
