Snowmobilers nailed for pot

North Bay & area - While drug enforcement is often being conducted during traffic stops on our area highways it is not limited to only motor vehicles but those who take on the sport of snowmobiling and fishing.

On January 22, 2010, North Bay OPP and North Bay Police Service officers were conducting enforcement on Restoule Lake. As a result, a group of anglers were found in possession of cannabis marijuana. Brent MURRAY, 28 years old, of Nipissing Township is charged with Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana - under 30grams as per s. 4(1) CDSA. MURRAY is scheduled to appear for court in North Bay on February 2, 2010.
