Snowmobiler charged with impaired driving

A Bonfield man has been charged with impaired driving over the weekend by the Ontario Provincial Police.

The man was stopped by the OPP early Sunday morning as he was about to drive off on his snow machine.

Police said the man had been consuming alcohol.

All Tessier, 28, was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs.
He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, in North Bay, March 9th, 2004.

The North Bay OPP would like to advise motorized snow vehicle operators that the same drinking and driving laws apply to snow machines as they do for vehicles on a highway.
