The North Bay Snowmobile Club says that the majority of their club’s trails are open under limited conditions.
The same is the case for most trails across the region, says a news release from the club's spokesman Shawn Flindall.
However area lakes are not yet staked and are not considered safe for travel.
In addition, any trails that remain listed as “CLOSED” are listed that way due to ongoing safety concerns.
"Our primary concern in these early season riding conditions is safety – please be cautious out there," said Flindall.
