Snowmobile trails open under limited conditions

The North Bay Snowmobiler Club's trails are now open under limited conditions.

All club trails are open with the exception of Trans Ontario Provincial Trail A102Q which leaves Sand Dam Road to Thorne, ON/Temiscaming, PQ.

NBSC groomers will try opening the trail Saturday. While the cold weather has been a blessing for ice conditions, ice thickness is variable throughout the region.

Limited conditions means some trails are open and may be groomed but extra caution should be exercised. It also means some trails have a thin base cover, and snowmobilers should watch for rocks and stumps.

Snowmobilers are urged to exercise extreme caution on frozen bodies of water, to beware of potential hazards,
and ride safely.
