Snowmaking begins!

“If we get cold weather we could open for part of the holidays."

Laurentian Ski Hill is pleased that below zero temperatures have allowed snowmaking operations have begun.

Snowmaking will continue all today until midday Sunday.

A mild forecast could lead to our first green Christmas in five years.

However the cold today and Sunday will definitely help the snowmaking cause in hopes of having the local hill open soon.

“If we get cold weather we could open for part of the holidays,” stated Trish Pecore, Laurentian Ski Hill General Manager, in an email to BayToday.ca

Officials at the Hill add they plan to open as soon as the weather permits.

The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 – 4:30 for season pass pick up and sales.

For more information call the office 705-494-7463 or check out the website at www.LaurentianSkiHill.com
