Snow removal companies had their shovels full

"It was a shock to the system because we didn't have any real storms last year to compare to.”

If you were in the snow removal business.  December 29th, 2015 was the busiest day of the year.

Keith Pollock, owner of Keith & Company Lawn Care, has been in the snow removal business for 10 years now. He says he hasn’t seen a storm like that in a while.

“The drifting was ridiculous and when the plows went through, the entrance ways were piled as high as a truck.  It was a shock to the system because we didn't have any real storms last year to compare to.”

Like many snow removal businesses, Pollock and his eight-man team worked overtime to get their customers snow removed.  Even today they were trying to catch up with all the snow that fell.

“I always tell our customers that we will get to you just please be patient,” said Pollock.

“Everybody wants out at the same time but it’s slow going and we try our best when we get that much.”

Snow removal services will be able to take their time for now as North Bay next snowfall is forecasted for Tuesday, when we are expected to receive 5 cm of snow.
