Smoking bandit sought

The North Bay Police Service is searching for a suspect in a robbery last night of a Mac's milk store on Trout Lake Road at Giroux Street. The robbery took place at approximately 10 p.m. when a a lone male entered the store.

He is alleged to have been wearing a disguise and carrying some type of club. He demanded cash and cigarettes of the lone female clerk.

A small amount of cash and several packages of Matinee Slims cigarettes were obtained. He then fled the scene.

Cst. Penny Kerr, of the North Bay Police Service, is investigating this occurrence and is seeking a male, 6’ and slim, wearing baggy pants, hooded sweater, a white kerchief (with black design) over his face, and grey sporty pants (like tear-a-ways).
