A well-known downtown grocer that closed at the end of March, will be having a new tenant.
For nearly 20 years, TW Foods was a downtown North Bay constant. Located in the 100-block of Main Street East — in the space once occupied by Ben's Supermarket — for many downtown residents and businesses, it was the only grocery store with fresh produce and meat and deli counter for kilometres in each direction.

While the grocery store is no more, a sit-down pizza restaurant and take-out business will take over the spot as Domino's Pizza has confirmed it will be taking over the spot. A sign inside the window of the former TW Foods location also confirms that.
Domino's Pizza also has a takeout location on Lakeshore Drive in North Bay.
BayToday has reached out to corporate Domino's Pizza to find out when the new pizza restaurant will open. So far they have not given BayToday a timeline when the new Domino's location will open.
