The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting six new COVID-19 cases as well as the eighth death in the region.
That brings the total to 16 active cases within the region.
There have been a total of 628 COVID-19 cases in the North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit since the pandemic began in March of 2020.
